11+ is a competitive entrance exam for entry in certain grammar schools in Year 7. The exam takes place at the beginning of year 6 in September. The exam test's children in English, Verbal Reasoning, Maths and Non-verbal reasoning and for some independent schools there is also an element of Creative writing tested.
11+ Foundation
Aimed for children in Year 4
The ideal time to start preparing your child for 11+ is at the beginning of year 4. The programme builds strong foundations by covering the content and skills required to pass the 11+ exam. The children develop fundamental knowledge and skills required in all areas of English, Maths, Verbal reasoning and Non- verbal reasoning. They are further introduced to developing the desired study habits for life long learning.
11+ Preparation
Aimed at children in Year 5
This is designed for intensive preparation in Year 5 and build's on from the Year 4 programme of study. It further advances children in speed and accuracy required for the exam. With strong emphasis on covering areas that the children struggle with, they are in turn prepared to be test ready. Children will be tested frequently and will also be asked to book mock tests online and at the centre to build their confidence of performing under exam-based conditions.
